1989, Wickenkamp

'Sonoran Caballero' (Floyd Wickenkamp, R. 1988). Seedling #SP-84-2. SPU, 41" (105 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Dark violet blue (near navy blue), small tan signal with dark greyish lines; white to lavender styles. 'Imperial Plum' X 'Love For Leila'. Shepard's Iris Garden 1989. Honorable Mention 1992, Award of Merit 1995.
