'Strike Zone' (B. Charles Jenkins, R. 2001) Seedling #CB02D. SPU, 35-48" (89-122 cm). Midseason late bloom. Standards deep brownish maroon; style arms brownish maroon; falls plush brownish maroon, bright yellow spot, yellow rays radiating over 3/4 of area; ruffled. Seedling #CI-26U: ('Ada Perry' x 'Ping And Pang' (white)) X seedling #BC53E: (seedling #A33-28D: ('Struttin' x 'Protege') x 'Ethic'). Comanche Acres 2002. Honorable Mention 2005.
