'Thrush Song' ( Walker Ferguson, R. 1958) Seedling #7-3. SPU, 36" (91 cm). Late bloom. Standards blue-purple; falls blue-purple, small gold signal. 'Lark Song' X 'Color Guard'. Melrose 1959. Honorable Mention 1959; Nies Award 1964.

Introducing THRUSH SONG (57-3: Lark Song X Color Guard) 36" When you hear the thrush's song at twilight you will know at once the color and the thrill of this new Spuria. Big flowers in a twilight shade of purple, an unusual color for these iris. A thrifty plant but with good increase and lots of bloom. Nct $15.00. Melrose Gardens.
