From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1964: WHITE HERON (Milliken) Each 1.00; 3 for 2.50. Muct the same shape as Wadi but not quite as large. Not pure white, but coming close. The falls are shaded with yellow out from the signal patch. HM 1950. Picture on page 12.
From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1948: 'This Spuria is whiter in general appearance than any other which we have seen. The flowers are large and the petals do not curl as in Ochroleuca. There is yellow on the inner portion of the flower so that this is by no means a pure white- a pure white is a goal still to be achieved. 4 feet. $10.00
