From Schreiner’s catalog, 2015: A GRAPE FIT (Schreiner 2015) M. 35” BONUS. We guarantee A Grape Fit will engender an outburst. Such a boisterous, welcoming rosy violet plicata will perk up the most staid gardener. Domed standards beautifully shelter silhouetted style arms. And the wide, cupshaped falls’ white ground is heavily peppered with a 1/2” ring of aster violet, as seen in our photo at left. It was a realization that we have no other Iris precisely this color, although there is a faint resemblance to 31 year old Jesse’s Song. 35” in height with 3 branches, 7 buds, some double-socketed. Seedling #TT740-2. |
