1994, Silverberg

'Abbey Road' (David Silverberg, R. 1994). Seedling 85-34C. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards creamy yellow; Falls warm white, creamy yellow shoulders; beards yellow, tipped cream. 'Pleated Gown' X 'Ganges Moon'. Stockton 1994. Honorable Mention 1996, Award of Merit 1998.

From Abbey Gardens catalog 1994: ABBEY ROAD (D. Silverberg) TB, a beautiful pale yellow reverse amoena with lovely form and great branching is being introduced for us by Stockton Gardens, Stockton, CA. We wish to thank James P. McWhirter and Abe Feuerstein for selecting this iris for introduction. As one admirer said, "It reminds me of frothy lemonade!"
