Awaiting original catalog description |
"Mrs. Lowry's L-219, named Aberdeen, is a light brown self with excellent branching; the first branch begins well below the middle of the stalk. Flaring falls, domed standards with a touch of canary yellow at the throat, good substance coupled with the fact that it is a heavy bloomer and doesn't fade in the sun, makes this a real addition." [Mrs. Otto Steutzel, “After the Ball Was Over,” The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 103 (October 1946): 10.] |
