'Above The Fray' (Hugh Stout, R. 2020). Seedling FA24C. TB, 36" (91 cm), Early Midseason bloom. Standards veronica violet, darker toward edge; style arms lavender; falls deep dark purple, lighter toward beard with prominent dark purple and white veining radiating from hafts, veining can vary to around beard or through the heart of the petal, ¼˝ violet edge; beards based lavender, tips bronze; heavy ruffling; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Mulberry Magic' X seedling TB15B: (seedling OZ5D: (seedling U565, unknown, x 'Sweet Geisha') x 'Aleutian Islands'). Stout Gardens 2020. Honorable Mention, 2023.
