From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing ACCENTUATION. TB. 36". (Silver Peak X Wine and Roses). Our first tall bearded introduction in over ten years. This brown bitone is different from any other. Lovely form with standards of light brown. Flared and lilting falls light brown with large rust spot; resembles a tall bearded dwarf with the spot pattern so well liked in the miniatures. Edged lighter. Low branching. 8 buds. Some haft marks. Has been seen at Eden Road Gardens and at Barney Hobbs' in Noblesville. For each order of the above, we will include SKY CLIPPER, a sister seedling in orchid tones that received 13 votes for HC in the Moldovan Garden. TB with dwarf spot pattern. $15.00. Earl Roberts. |
