Both the domed standards and broad falls are extremely ruffled. A very light pink in color, it sports a tangerine-orange beard. Many buds insure a long season of bloom. Branching is variable. No pollen, but sets seed readily. 30-32". Midseason. Seedling #339-5E: ((Snow Flurry x Pink Formal) x Frost and Flame) X Signature. HC 1968. Cherry Lane. |
AFFECTION (Corlew '69). Among the palest pinks, but so clean and charmingly wide and laced. [Tell Muhlestein, “Twenty-five Irises That Have Performed Well for Me,” The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 199 (October 1970): 48.] |
