■(TB) 'Alexia'
2006, Bartlett
'Alexia' (
Cy Bartlett, R. 2003). Seedling PI-HTB 1. TB, height 36" (91 cm), Mid bloom season. Ruffled greyed medium blue; beards pale grey, yellow in throat; slight fragrance.
'Indigo Princess' X
'Honky Tonk Blues'. Sutton 2006.
British Dykes Medal 2006
Note: While the Iris Register entry for several irises list 'Alexia' or 'Alexia' seedling as a parent, the dates of registry for many of these cultivars predated substantially the 'Alexia' linked above. More likely there was an earlier 'Alexia', not currently listed in the Iris Encyclopedia. Thank you Barbara Mann for noticing this discrepancy and suggesting the solution.
