| From AIS Bulletin #233 Spring 1979 Introducing AMARILLO - Sdlg. F-36.TB, 36", M. (Nob Hill x Craftsman) X Reta Fry. A smooth, heavily textured, sturdy iris with long-lasting blooms. The large, ruffled flowers have closed S. of rich Indian yellow. The flaring F. are a lighter shade of the same color with a wide edging of the rich S. hue.
