From R. Wallace Co. catalog, 1922: ANGELO (Newlands, 1920), A pale purple bicolor on the lines of 'Lady Foster'. Strong straight stems bearing enormous flowers similar in shape to Lady Foster but rather deeper in colour. Standards pale lavender blue. Falls of a deeper tone, very long and broad. This is an exceedingly handsome plant and up to the same standard as Ann Page. 2½--3 ft. C IV. 42/-each. |
