From Buena Vista catalog for 1959: "Appears to be an improved Dreamcastle with its large beautifully formed flower and broad, nicely ruffled petals. A complete self of Imperial Purple (33/I by Wilson), except for the beard which is medium yellow with a white tip. Blooms profusely on a well branched stock (sic), making it an excellent show specimen. The clean velvety texture and vigorous foliage command attention in any planting." |
