'Anna Sapunkova' (
Iryna Lukava, R. 2020). Seedling 16#226gl. TB, 29" (74 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards intense pink; style arms pink; falls dark violet, large intense pink blaze around beard; beards orange; pronounced fragrance.
'Gypsy Lord' X
'Are We in Love'.
The seedling was named after ballet soloist dancer of the Lviv National Opera and Ballet Theatre Mrs. Anna Sapunkova (Анна Сапункова). Its flower perfectly reflects the essence of the character dance in which Mrs. Sapunkova is undoubtedly the star. The tender salmon-pink color of the standards marks the warmth and kindness of this outstanding performer, and deep amethyst falls make one think of a crazy flying gypsy skirt.
