'Apricot Glory' ( Tell Muhlestein, R. 1948). Sdlg. 48-76. TB. Early/midseason bloom. Color Class-R4L. Apricot self, hafts flushed deeper; beard apricot. ( 'Golden Eagle' x Hall #4024) x 'Gay Orchid'. Fragrant. High Commendation 1949, Honorable Mention 1951, Award of Merit 1956.

From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: APRICOT GLORY (Mu.hlestein 1951) Each 3.00. Smoothly finished light apricot or salmon pink with a self-colored beard and slightlydeeper coloring on the hafts. One of the most successful newer iris that has proved itself an excellent parent for many colors including pure orange selfs. Midseason. 35 inches. HM 51.l
From Tell's Iris Garden catalog, 1951: APRICOT GLORY Midseason late bloom. 36". Smooth delicate but rich apricot self, even to the beards, with hafts flushed deeper. Falls flare nicely and are devoid of any markings or lines to mar their beauty. Heavy substance. Highly commended. $20.
