From Fairmount Gardens, 1955: AUCOCISCO (Tobie 1949) M. An old Indian name pronounced Au-co-cis-co. Perfectly finished flowers with palest wistaria standards and very blue-purple falls. Almost a true amoena, the nearly white standards are highly domed and firm. The semi-flaring falls are rich and dark with the velvety finish completely covering the surface. A gem in form and color contrast. H. C., A. I. S. 1947. 34 in. $2.00 3 for $4.50. Introduced by Fairmount Gardens in 1949. $15.00. |
