'Aunt Margaret' ( Donald Spoon, R. 2002). Seedling 96-646A. TB, height 32" (81 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Deep velvety bluish purple self; beards deep bluish purple; lightly ruffled, flared; slight sweet fragrance. 'Holy Night' X 'Purple Magic'. Winterberry 2002.

From AIS Bulletin #325 April 2002 Introducing Aunt Margaret TB, 32" (81 cm), EM & RE (Oct. in zone 6b). Deep bluish purple self and beards, fully flared with wide, gently ruffled falls. Clean hafts and velvety texture. Borer free here. Best winter hardiness of all our rebloomers with stalks and flowers that continue bloom development after overnight temperatures down to 26 degrees F. Seven buds per stalk. Nice floral fragrance. Fertile both ways. (Holy Night X Purple Magic). $45. Winterberry Gardens.
