From Rainbow Hybridizing Gardens catalog 1963: AUTUMN AFTERNOON (Brown '55) E-24". A new color combination with standards in clear apricot yellow, flaring falls in pinkish lavender. Very strong tendency for re-blooming, usually early. Percy reports this began blooming 1st of Aug., stalks were still coming on in early Oct. Every sizeable rhizome re-bloomed. Sets seed, but no pollen. (Sally Ann X Autumn Twilight). Regularly $2.00; on $10 order $1.35; on $25 order $1.25. |
