'Autumn Elegance' (Raymond G. Smith, R. 1967) Seedling D79ER. TB Re, 29" (74 cm), Midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards light tan effect (Nickerson 7.5Y 9/8); Falls base color same, brushed lavender (2/5P 7/7). (Sass F-53-1 x 'Lugano') X (Hall pink x 'Gibson Girl'). Smith 1968.

From AIS Bulletin #189 April 1968 Introducing AUTUMN ELEGANCE (R. Smith '68). Heavily ruffled over all with loads of quality. Standards light yellow-tan. Swirled: Falls the same but brushed smoothly over-all with lavender. Small, but in perfect proportion. Unusual. Net $25.00. R. G. Smith.
