1973, Applegate

'Autumn Evening' ( Charles Applegate, R. 1972) Seedling 149-67C. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards strong purple (Nickerson 7.5P 5/10) blended buff, especially in center, Falls same, blue blaze at tip of beard, smoothly blended out through center; light lemon beard tipped white. 'Pride Of Summer' X 'Final Fling'. Summerlong 1973.
