1962, Brown

'Autumn Orangelite' (G. Percy Brown, R. 1961). TB Re, 18" (46 cm), Re. Color Class-O1F, Orange self; orange beard. 'Fall Fairy' X 'Sally Ann'. Brown's Everblooming Gdn 1962.

Note: Registered TB at 18", but introductory description shows BB. Exhibits PBF (Purple-based foliage).

From Brown’s Everblooming Iris Garden catalog, 1962: Autumn Orangelite - $25.00 - A Border Bearded rebloomer - Flower-S closed. F. slight flare. A deep Orange self. Medium sized flower in proportion to 18-inch stalk. 3 Branches, 9 buds-3 stalks on 2-year clump. 4 fans and 4 buds on each for increase. Bloom started October 18 and continued till November 12. Parentage (Fall Fairy X Sally Ann).
