'Aztec Art' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2009). Seedling TW6A. TB, 33" (84 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards and style arms bright yellow-gold; Falls dark mahogany, large yellow-gold sunburst around vibrant orange-gold beards; musky fragrance. 'Bold Vision' X 'Next Millennium'. Mid-America 2009. Honorable Mention 2011, Award of Merit 2014.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2009: AZTEC ART (T.Johnson 09) TB Early-Midseason 33” (84cm). The Aztecs made extensive use of gold and so it is with Aztec Art. Bright yellow gold standards and styles are reinforced by large yellow gold sunbursts on heavily ruffled dark mahogany falls. Mahogany veins flow over sunbursts. Vibrant orange gold beards add fire. Husky plants produce strong stalks with 2 branches and 7 buds. Aztec Art makes a superb garden display. Sdlg. TW6A: Bold Vision X Next Millennium. $50.00.
