From Sturtevant Glen Road Iris Garden catalog, 1920: B. Y. MORRISON— You may have read Mr. Morrison’s articles and decided that he knows iris. This, he selected in 1915 from some hundreds of seedlings and again, in 1917, he still considered it most charming. The standards are Pale Lavender Violet, the falls velvety Raisin Purple and their wide lavender border has a dark outline. Strong but distinctively slender in stem and leaf growth. 33 in. F. C. C.
