Synonym: Bealdor. G&K 1924, Sheets 1928.

Note: Not to be confused with Tb Baldur, B.Y.Morrison, 1923.

From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: BALDER (Goos &. Koenemann). S. yellow-olive, with light blush reflex; F. dark reddish-purple. A flower of good form and strong coloring that is sure to prove popular. $3.00 each.
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: BALDER (Goos and Koenemann). S. cream suffused light lavender; F. rich velvety raisin-purple, not quite as dark as Vingolf, margined cream on one side and buff on the other, with red-brown and yellow markings on cream base; almost circular. Medium size flower of good shape and excellent substance. Bloom stalk, 30 to 33 inches high, with foliage extending almost to top of bloom. Similar in color to Vingolf but larger and possibly, also, better than that new variety. $2.00.
