'Barbara May' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2007). Seedling Tu74A. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards and falls snow white, precise medium purple plicata band; style arms purple; beards violet blue; very ruffled; pronounced fragrance. 'Heaven's Edge' X unknown. Mid-America 2007. Honorable Mention 2009.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2007: BARBARA MAY - TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason. This lovely iris is being introduced to honor BARBARA MAY, the incoming president of National Garden Clubs. Lavishly ruffled snow white standards and falls have medium purple plicata bands around them. Purple styles are a fitting accent. It produces superb show stalks. Sdlg. TU74A: Heaven's Edge X Unknown. $50.00.
