'Battle Scars' (Barry Blyth, R. 2026). Seedling C95-1, TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards tuscan yellow (RHS 162B), veined edge greyed orange (RHS 174A), random violet flecking at petal edges; style arms bronzed yellow (RHS 163B), veined dark mahogany brown (RHS 175A); falls purple-black, with slightly lighter edge, white spray pattern around beard; beards old gold base, bronze tips; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling A75-1:('Regal Impact' x seedling X187-XX:('Superhero' x 'Reckless Abandon')) X seedling A123-X:('Misty Sunlight' x seedling X174-A, 'Bombastic' sibling).
