Most worthy of note is this light blue iris with large flowers of firm substance and delightful fragrance, often having· three blooms open at one time on a tall well branched stalk. H. C., A. I. "Mrs. Corey's new blue, called Bay State, is from Pale Moonlight X Great Lakes, has none of the veining of its famous parent. It is very smooth in texture, with four nicely placed branches, semiflaring and slightly ruffled. It is a late bloomer."
