2013, Burseen

'Beefy' (Tom Burseen, R. 2012). Seedling 08-70A. TB, 37" (94 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards and style arms grey red (RHS 180C), gold glow; falls ruby red (59A) washed black, color of standards around edge; beards dark orange in throat, orange in middle, gold at end, blended cream, yellow, and grey red stag horns; ruffled and flared; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling 06-24, 'Terra Firma' pollen parent, X seedling 06-90: (seedling 04-214, see 'Terra Firma', x seedling 03-685, 'Nah' pod parent). Burseen 2013. Honorable Mention 2016.
