From Sunnyside Gardens catalog, 1940: BELLE COVERT— (Lapham-Gage, 1940), (Spring Maid X Lyndon). Standards Light Vinaceous Fawn Flushed Lilac. Falls Daphne Pink, gold medial line and edging; brown reticulation; heavy, deep yellow beard. Domed standards, well rounded; semi-flaring falls. Excellent substance and resistance. Three branches, ten blooms; tall stalks; vigorous grower and rapid increaser. $10.00. ORIGINAL CATALOG DESCRIPTION.
