"Bellerive, a 1950 introduction from Clifford Benson, was about the loveliest deep cream I ever saw. Somewhat darker than 'Desert Song', it had a thickness of petal which made the color appear deeper. If it is a good doer, it will be very popular." Mrs. Ed Conrad (Idaho), “Way Beyond the Hills of Idaho” The Bulletin of the American Iris Society, No. 121, (April 1951): 35. |
