From the AIS Bulletin, August 1945, No. 98 - 'The Irises of Cedric Morris' by N. Leslie Cave: Another plicata blend and most distinct.The standards have reddish purple reticulations all over the cream ground, while the falls are lined and speckled violet. At a distance it gives the effect of a red-purple and violet bicolour. The flower is oval. |
