2016, Kanarowski
'Big Hat No Cows' (Douglas Kanarowski, R. 2016). Seedling# 0489. TB, 47" (119 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards mid yellow, near transparent violet tinted diamond halo; style arms mid yellow, stigmatic lip tinged pale blue-violet; falls triangular white zonal sunburst becomes light yellow at shoulder, veined cobalt-black, wide mid cobalt-blue band becomes violet-cobalt near edge, ¼˝ pale blue-violet rim, black-violet wire rim; beard hairs based cream, tips marigold-orange; diamond dusted; purple based foliage; large flower; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 0425: (seedling# 0216: ('Stairway To Heaven' x 'Rippling River') x 'Life behind Bars') X seedling# 0331: ('Starring' x 'Secret Service'. Mariposa 2016. Honorable Mention 2018; Award of Merit 2023.
