'Black Cat' (. Donald Spoon, R. 2014). Seedling# 2000-140BCT. TB, 37" (94 cm), Late to very late bloom. Standards velvety black (RHS 203A), light grey-purple (N186D)between black veins at base, closed and domed; style arms grey-purple (186C), edged grey-orange (163B), violet-blue (93C) stigmatic lips; falls velvety black, hidden hafts with mauve between grey-purple (186A) veins, arched; beards grey-purple, tips grey-orange (N170B); ruffled; crenulated lace. 'Dark Passion' X 'Midnight Oil'. Winterberry Iris Gardens 2015.
