From AIS Bulletin #257 April 1985 Introducing BLACK MADONNA. TB, EM, 36". Near black, falls slightly deeper, self beard; moderately ruffled, wide petals. In most ways this is a near carbon copy of its pollen parent, Dusky Dancer. But the petals are a little wider and it seems a stronger grower. Highly fertile. Sdlg. #79-3-B: (Tuxedo x (Licorice Stick x Black Swan)) X Dusky Dancer. HC '83. $25.00. Harold Stahly. |
