1986, Luihn

'Blackout' (Walter Luihn, R. 1985). Seedling 81-11. TB, 38" (97 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards silky black violet (deeper than M&P 48-H-12); falls darker, velvety blue-black; dark blackish blue beard; slight sweet fragrance. 'By Night' X 'Navy Chant'. Keppel 1986. Favorite Guest 1986; Honorable Mention 1988.
