'Blazing Light' (George Shoop, R. 1983). Seedling# 76-27-2. TB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow; falls white with deep orange flush extending down from hafts; red beard; slight fragrance. Seedling# 74-7 X seedling# 74-6. Shoop 1983. Favorite Guest 1984; Honorable Mention 1985.

From AIS Bulletin #249 April 1983 Introducing BLAZING LIGHT (Shoop '83) Sdlg. 76-27-2. TB, 34", M. Yellow standards and white falls with a bright orange flush extending down from the hafts. Red beards. Good branching and stalk. Very bright combination. Involving seedlings 74-7 orange x 74-6 brown stds., yellow falls. $25.00. George Shoop.
