From Bay View Gardens catalog,1997: BLONDE BOMBSHELL, 40 inches, mid to late season. $35.00. One of our most flamboyant, yet chaste creations. The strong standards are coral blended into creamy apricot edge with a deep melon flush up the midrib. The extremely wide overlapping falls are white with a creamy apricot band. Tall strong stems with wide show branching and multi-budded placement. Add lacing and bubble ruffling and you have an irresitible temptress.
