'Blossom Valley' (Mary Ellen Knopf, R. 1959). Seedling# 1754. TB, 38" (97 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-W1, White self. 'Snow Flurry' x 'Maid Of Cotton'. Knopf 1960.

From AIS Bulletin #157, April 1960. Introducing BLOSSOM VALLEY (Sdlg No. 1754) Snow Flurry x Maid of Cotton. Elegant large flaring pure white iris with heavy substance and fine texture. Standards wavy and closed. Falls wavy and flaring. Wide of parts, an iris of good forni. Light yellow beard. Branching good. Pods readily, pollen scarce. E.M. 38". $25.00. Named in honor of my dear friend, Peggy Dodson, who originated Blossom Valley Garden Club, of which I am a charter member and past president. knopf Iris Garden.
