From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: BLUE FLIGHT (Frazee-Albright 1954) M. L. 36 in. (The Admiral x (Pink Salmon Sib. x Great Lakes)). A very flaring flower of heavy substance and satiny finish. In color it is a medium blue with a hint of rosy lavender in its undertones. The beard is a slightly darker shade of blue and is very full. With its parentage, this should be a fine breeder for several different lines. H. C. 1953. 8.00. |
