From Iris Test Garden Catalog, 1955: BLUE PARAKEET. (Waters 1950). A stunning new Iris. A lovely clear Chicory blue with a very decided olive haft reaching nearly an inch down the fall. The flowers are large, the tall stalks 40-43 inches, are widely branched. Heavy fragrance. Excellent. Midseason. Late. $3.00. |
