From AIS Bulletin #153, April 1959. Introducing BLUE PARASOL (BAY STATE sib x white seedling) x CHIVALRY. Blue Parasol has a personality all its own. With many blooms open at the Same time, it gives the effect of gay parasols. It is an azure blue self, very ruffled, with firmly cupped standards. Falls are wide and exceptionally flaring. Beard is full, yellow tipped white. Unusual yellow hafts enhance the flower. It is a rapid grower. Midseason. 37". Awarded Honorable Mention in 1958. NET $20.00. Cherry Hill. |
