Dr. P. A. Loomis by Melba Hamblen, R. 1976). TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Light blue self; white beard tipped blue. Unknown parentage, probably involving.

Another distinctive blue-white was one Dr. Loomis called "Blue Throat," which had much blue in the heart of the flower. It had lovely form with wide ruffled petals...and good substance.
