'Boot Scootin Boogie' (
Jim Hedgecock, R. 2013)-Seedling R-102-A. 32". Midseason bloom. What a fun iris this is. The ruffled standards are white. Style arms are white with yellow crests. The ruffled and fluted falls are maroon red with white rays splaying out over the upper 1/2 of the petals. Add to this golden yellow rims on the falls. The beards are yellow. Mild, pleasant fragrance. Seven buds and perfect branching. 'Boot scootin Boogie' promises to make you dance with joy.
