'Buenos Aires' (John Durrance, R. 1988). Seedling# 82-7. TB, 35" (89 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards yellow; Falls purple, laced golden edge. 'World News' X Sexton seedling# 23-73. Long's Gardens 1988.

From AIS Bulletin #269 April 1988 Introducing BUENOS AIRES (John Durrance) TB 35" M. Sdlg. 82-7. A variegata with laced golden edge margins on falls. 7 buds. World News X Sexton 23-73. This is a "bonus iris" with purchase of any other 1988 Durrance introduction.
