From Fairmount Gardens catalog, 1938/39: BUFFALO BILL (Callis, 1937) The standards are domed and light pink in color, the falls are flaring and deep velvety red. The beard is heavy yellow. The whole llower has strong substance and does not fade in the sun. Starts blooming with the Intermediates and flowers throughout the beardd iris season. Very fragrant. 45 in. $15.00.
