'Butterscotch Swirl' (William Plotner R. 1989). Seedling# 304. TB, 36-40" (96-102 cm). Early to midseason bloom. Standards yellow (slightly greener than RHS 15C/D); falls white, blending to buff tan, edged butter yellow, veined butterscotch brown at midrib and hafts; yellow beard; slight spicy fragrance. Tompkins seedling# 79-10-A: (('Tinsel Town' x 'Darktown Strutter') x ('Tinsel Town' x 'Stepping Out')) X Tompkins seedling# 76-32-B: ('Rosebloom' x 'Ribbon Round'). Wildwood Gardens 1988.
