| From Aitken’s catalog, 2017: CABBAGE PATCH (TB)(Aitken '17) NOVELTY TB, 40” (101.6 cm) ML. 4 branches with 9 buds. Large round heavily substanced “novelty” flowers are dominated by generous, very ruffled flounces, thus the name. The very distinct flower form has a white base color with blended lavender at petal edges and on the huge flounces. Falls are very wide for a “space ager”, they lay out horizontally, overlapping and are ruffled. Standards are ruffled and almost overwhelmed by the extra ruffled flounces. Substantial style arms are white. A reciprocal cross also produced very interesting “space agers”. Sdlg #05T9 (Detroit City X Conjuration).SKU: 17tb117. $50.00. |
