2010, Blyth

'Cafe Viva' (Barry Blyth, R 2010). Seedling# Q8-B. TB, 36" (91 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards white; falls medium violet blending to lavender blue edge, large white starburst coming ½ way down; beards white base tipped bright tangerine; pronounced musky fragrance. 'Gypsy Lord' X Keppel seedling# 02-177XY: ('Brave Face' x 'Parisian Dawn'). Tempo Two 2010/11.

Hybridizer's Comment: Standards are white with a faint blue cast on opening. Falls are mid violet blending out to the edge of lavender blue. lt has a large starburst pattern of white around beards and extending about half way down the falls. Full ruffled flared flowers. Musky sweet perfume. Show stems but a bit late for most shows. Fertility untried. Sister to 'Tango Express'
