1975, Powell

'Camelot Hues' (Loleta Powell, R. 1975). Seedling# 72-34. TB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason to very late bloom. Standards snow white; falls orchid-purple with 1/3" white border; tangerine beard. 'Camelot Wine' X 'Meredith Hues'. Powell 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #217 April 1975 Introducing CAMELOT HUES. Sdlg. 72-34. 'TB, 30", M-VL. Combines the best qualities of great parents: (Camelot Wine X Meredith Hues). This impeccable 6-1/2" amoena has S. of snow; orchid-purple F. have 1/3" white border, lit up with tangerine beards. Beautifully branched; extremely long blooming period. $30.00., Powell's Gardens.
